Big Mammas House of Burlesque is the epitome
of a classic Burlesque, Vaudeville, and Variety Show. Every time those
stage lights come on our performers will astound, amaze, entrance, entice,
challenge, treat and tease you. We strive to achieve the highest quality
shows while giving you live entertainment that you could even invite your
mother to (if she dared).
You will laugh, dance, dream and sometimes participate
in our dynamic shows. And when you finally leave us, you'll wish you could
do it all again tomorrow.
So Do We...
"Big Mammas" brings classic vaudeville and
burlesque to Charlotte's theatre and arts community with class. We provide
a stage where anyone can showcase their myriad of talents whether they
be comedy, dancing, singing, sideshow acts, Magic , spinning plates, rollerskating
while being pulled by two pink poodles wearing a funny hat while hula
hooping the the strains of In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida, or just about anything
anyone can think of. Long gone are the days of the Variety show. We intend
to change that.
If you're tired of the bass thumping, shoulder bumping,
flashing lights at your local meat market you can come and enjoy something
you wont regret or forget in the morning.

How Do I TIP the Performers?
Burlesque performers aren't strippers. So waving a dollar at a girl is more likely to insult her than anything else. Most troupes will find creative ways for you to tip. We may also put a group tip jar in a central location, like the merchandise table, for you to drop off your tips. We love you and thank you for letting us perform for you.
