Big Mammas House of Burlesque is the epitome
of a classic Burlesque, Vaudeville, and Variety Show. Every time those
stage lights come on our performers will astound, amaze, entrance, entice,
challenge, treat and tease you. We strive to achieve the highest quality
shows while giving you live entertainment that you could even invite your
mother to (if she dared).
You will laugh, dance, dream and sometimes participate
in our dynamic shows. And when you finally leave us, you'll wish you could
do it all again tomorrow.
So Do We...
"Big Mammas" brings classic vaudeville and
burlesque to Charlotte's theatre and arts community with class. We provide
a stage where anyone can showcase their myriad of talents whether they
be comedy, dancing, singing, sideshow acts, Magic , spinning plates, rollerskating
while being pulled by two pink poodles wearing a funny hat while hula
hooping the the strains of In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida, or just about anything
anyone can think of. Long gone are the days of the Variety show. We intend
to change that.
If you're tired of the bass thumping, shoulder bumping,
flashing lights at your local meat market you can come and enjoy something
you wont regret or forget in the morning.
How Do I TIP the
Performers?
Burlesque performers aren't
strippers. So waving a dollar at a girl is more likely to insult
her than anything else. Most troupes will find creative ways for you to
tip. Listen to the MC's at the beginning of the show. They will tell you
where you can go to meet the girls and tip them. For example: At halloween
all of the performers have trick or treat pails to walk around the crowd
with for their tips. We may also put a group tip jar in a central location,
like the merchandise table, for you to drop off your tips. We love you
and thank you for letting us perform for you.

Heads, Magicians, Sword Swallowers, & Acts of all Kinds.

Venue! We had a terrific time in Raleigh in spite of the snow.
It was Hot Hot Hot inside! We positivly melted the snow for a
square block! Thanks Raleigh! We'll be back soon!

.....This was a night to remember setting an attendance record
for our show, the crowd was wonderful! With New performers and
the ones you know and love, it was a Think Pink night no one will
forget!

Durham, NC Ringside
is an Amazing night club and we had a blast doing the Burlesque
and Beats night. Veronica Lashe, Taloolah Love,and Tit's McGee
performed to a very enthusiastic crowd! We want to go back to
Durham!

Amos' Southend Big Mamma hit the
stage in a big way this year in the new venue for Carnevil, Amos'
Southend. Tits McGee Showed her....Support for our troops! Miss
Merry Shenanigans was woo'd by the dark Pappa Geddie. and Making
her Burly Q stage Debut Chicago Drake Rocked the house!

our Exotic World Fund Rasier! We'd like to thank everyone who
made the trip possible! We raised enough money to pay for our
flights and Hotel rooms in Las Vegas!

Visulite Theatre - Phenominal Show! New Video Screen was up
and running Stag Reels between the shows. Hannibal
the Magician Wowed the crowd and sparks flew when Sideshow
Bennie got out the grinder! Tits McGee debuted her new Carmen
Miranda meet Josephine Baker act called "Jump In Bananas!".
Veronica Lashe and Talloolah Love also brought thier newest act
"EVIL" which you can see in June at Miss Exotic World
in Las Vegas! There was so much more... pictures are coming later
this week.
Easter Weekend -
FROLICON
We had a wonderful
time at this 1500 person party which masquerades as a convention.
The people and costumes were wonderful!! Big Mammas Ball Room
was packed! So much so that the hotel threatened to shut us down!
We almost earned the title of "Too Hot For Atlanta!!"
When the Big City Burlesque gals stole the show, we made them
pay it back with interest in an all night after party drinking
contest! Hurray for CON!! Thanks to all the lovely ladies who
stopped by the booth to show off their new pasties.

of the annual benefit that Rocks the City!

The Pre Halloween Makeover Event was a Blast! Almost
100 women showed up in their high heels and hotpants to bump grind
and laugh! Kit Nuveau performed while Big Mamma Gave a Burlesque
History Seminar and How to Make your Own Pasties Workshop!
